====== CAN Transceivers =======

The CAN transceiver has two tasks:
  * Receiving: it adapts signal levels from the bus, to levels that the CAN Controller expects and has protective circuitry that protect the CAN Controller
  * Sending: it converts the transmit-bit signal received from the CAN Controller into a signal that is sent onto the bus


The following is a list of known manufacturers of CAN transceivers.\\ Not all of there products are listed but sometimes products worth mentioning. Always check the manufacturers product pages.

Manufacturers working on CAN FD capable transceivers are marked with a CAN FD smily :-)
The main issue of CAN FD capable transceivers is the symmetry of the rising and the falling edges, which are required above 1 Mbit/s.
